Our Mission

Cleanup the Colorado was established in May 2018 as a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to organizing, sponsoring and promoting river cleanups, environmental education and related activities throughout the state of Texas and especially on the Colorado River and its tributaries. Our LoCo Trash Bash events in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 were a huge success and removed more than forty tons of trash from the river. We’ve hosted a number of smaller cleanups and events as well as encouraging environmental stewardship and education throughout the years.
